Turbotron Standard Warranty Terms and Conditions for ALL REPAIRS:

 

Limited Warranty period 3 months from date of sale. Unit will be replaced or repaired to OEM standards at no charge if repair work or materials are found defective, and failure was not due to negligence, misapplication, or abuse.

 

Exclusions:

Typical factory OEM and finishing industry standard warranty exclusions do not cover failures due to:

 

  • Paint or fluid backed up into bearing.

  • Poor quality compressed air (oil, water, dirt).

  • Using un-balanced bell cups on the turbine.

  • Improper flushing/cleaning procedures (causing solvent back-ups).

  • Low bearing air pressure (min 70 psi instrument quality bearing air).

  • Exceeding max rated rpm for bell cup size.

  • Defective speed control.

  • Excessive acceleration /G-forces generated by the robot (or reciprocator, oscillator) creating excessive angular velocity.

 

Exclusions - Other components:

  • Normal wear items.

  • Improper flushing/cleaning.

  • Excessive fluid pressure.

  • Exposing carbon bearing to water or store for a prolonged period in very highly humid environments.

  • Using unbalanced, worn, or plugged diffuser in bell cup.

  • Using improper gap in bell cup diffuser.

  • Bell installation resulting in improper seating. 

  • Disassembly of the turbine before it can be evaluated by Turbotron automatically voids warranty.

 

If workmanship or repair quality is suspected to be the cause of failure, customer must request a form from Turbotron to initiate the Warranty Request procedure. This form is the Warranty Request Form and it must be filled out completely and sent along with the turbine in order to have the warranty request evaluated.  Turbine will be properly evaluated in our laboratory and a Warranty Response Form will be returned.

 

  • Turbotron assumes no liability for consequential damages such as work stoppage or loss of production, injury, or damages to property as a result of misuse of the equipment.

  • The only obligation we maintain is to replace parts that have failed due to faulty workmanship or materials. Turbotron does not issue cash refunds.

 

Limitation and Exclusions of liability:  Turbotron shall not be liable to the Buyer by reason of any representation, advice, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the Contract, for any loss of profit, lost savings, loss by reason of plant shut down, non-operation or increased expense of operation, cost of money, loss of use of equipment, loss of capital or revenue, loss or corruption of data or any indirect or consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise) costs expenses or other claims for  compensation whatsoever (and whether caused by the negligence of the Turbotron, its employees or agents or otherwise and whether Turbotron had been advised of the possibility of the Buyer incurring the same) which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the Equipment or any other goods or services or their use or resale by the Buyer. Turbotron's maximum liability (including liability for direct loss and damage to the tangible property of the Buyer caused directly by the negligence of the Seller), whether arising under contract, tort (including negligence) or any other theory of liability shall not exceed the contract or purchase order price.

 

 

Other Repair Conditions:

All parts sent to Turbotron for repair will be evaluated and quoted in a timely manner. Parts may be returned to the customer at the request of the customer up until 12 months after date received by Turbotron. Following the 12 months, Turbotron may scrap or discard any unrepaired parts and is under no obligation to store unrepaired customer parts beyond this time period.
